What will you do?

  • Team Leadership:
  • Provide guidance to the warranty management team.
  • Lead daily team objectives and coordinate workload distribution to meet expectations.
  • Support the on-going development of team members.
  • Act as the escalation point for customer or dealer warranty concerns.
  • Claims Processing and Evaluation:
  • Ensure that all incoming claims are reviewed and processed, ensuring they meet all necessary criteria for approval.
  • Analyze and assess claims data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify any discrepancies or potential issues with claims and meet with the relevant teams to resolve them.
  • Verify that claims are in line with company policies and vendor requirements.
  • Track and manage customer warranty claims through all stages of the process.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Drive collaboration with team members to ensure timely and accurate claims processing.
  • Communicate with claimants, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to gather necessary information, and to provide updates on claims status.
  • Report on various metrics that indicate the performance of warranty claims.
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Claims Strategy and Process Improvement:
  • Lead improvements initiatives to the warranty claims processes, workflows, and systems to increase efficiency.
  • Support related projects as a warranty subject matter expert.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance to processes and to drive enhancements.
  • The position is typically office-based, with potential for some remote work as per the company’s ‘Hybrid Work Arrangement’ policy.
  • Standard working hours, though flexibility may be required during busy periods or when resolving urgent claims.
  • Some travel may be necessary to meet with local branches, vendors, or attend training sessions.

What do you bring?

  • Certifications related to statistical analysis, efficiency improvement and data management are an asset.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in claims management or a related field, with a strong understanding of claims handling processes.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
  • Ability to review claims information and identify inconsistencies or potential issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to support team members, interact with stakeholders and provide reports.
  • Capable of identifying problems and proposing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Proficient in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of warranty policies, vendors’ requirements, and claims management best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
