###Your tasks
As a Service & Installations Coordinator, you willsupportthe Installations Supervisor inplanning,coordinating, andtrackingall site‑relatedactivities. You will act as the central point forlogistics,equipment tracking,supplier coordination,site documentation, and certainhealth&safetyand quality aspects, ensuring efficient and well‑structured operations in the field.
You are a logistical pillar ready to support the team directly on‑site during crucial phases. Your role is to ensure that the teams have everything they need to operate efficiently and safely.
Summary of tasks
-**Operational Logistics :**Coordinate transportation (cranes, trailers, vehicles) and manage accommodations and travel arrangements for the teams. -**Material Tracking & Quality :**Ensure material reception on job sites, manage missing parts, and document non‑conformities. -**Operational Support & Field Presence :**Act as a resource person on job sites. While your duties are administrative, you don’t hesitate to roll up your sleeves during critical moments (e.g., concrete pours, loading equipment onto trucks, etc.) to help keep the work flowing smoothly. -**Supplier Relations :**Identify and negotiate with local service providers (excavation, tool rentals) and verify invoicing. -**Health & Safety :**Maintain up‑to‑date H&S records and ensure compliance with safety rules on construction sites.
###Your profile
- Relevant training in project management, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent hands‑on field experience.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in project coordination or in an industrial/mechanical construction environment.
- ASP Construction Health & Safety card.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, sketches, and diagrams (both metric and imperial systems).
- Versatility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable with outdoor work and physically fit to support manual tasks when required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Advanced French (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). French is the primary working language within the organization.
- Advanced English (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).
Knowledge of English is required since the position involves regular coordination of directives and technical support from the Doppelmayr/Garaventa Group, particularly for job sites. It also requires communication with various entities of the group or suppliers located outside Quebec. These exchanges may include technical discussions regarding parts, plan interpretation, urgent on‑site problem‑solving, and logistics follow‑up.
