Keltic Lodge is a historic resort located in the heart of the magnificent Cape Breton Highlands National Park, proudly overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Home to the #5 Golf Course in Canada and part of the Golf North family, we truly areapremier destination for hospitality, golf, and relaxation. Just 2 hours from Sydney, NS, and a 5-hour drive from Halifax, the resort has been welcoming guests to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia since July 1940.

We are looking for a creative and digitally-savvy Marketing Coordinator to promote Keltic Lodge as a premier global destination. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing our social media presence, and executing seasonal campaigns that drive room nights, tee times, and restaurant covers. The ideal candidate is a storyteller who can capture the beauty of Cape Breton and translate it into a compelling digital brand. Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Produce high-quality photos, videos, and written copy for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), the resort website, and email newsletters.
  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule and engage with followers. Monitor guest tags and "check-ins" to leverage user-generated content.
  • Coordinate monthly newsletters to our database, highlighting seasonal packages, golf tournaments, and special events.
  • Monitor and draft professional responses for reviews on platforms like TripAdvisor, Google, and Expedia.
  • Design or coordinate the production of on-property signage, menus, and brochures in alignment with brand standards.
  • Coordinate with F&B, Golf, and Guest Services to ensure all upcoming events and promotions are accurately advertised.
  • Track the performance of digital ads and social media engagement, providing monthly reports on what is driving the most traffic to our booking engine.
  • Complying with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and GolfNorth Health & Safety program.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design.
  • Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign). Experience with social media scheduling tools and email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
  • Strong "eye" for aesthetics; ability to shoot and edit basic short-form video content (Reels/TikToks).
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for luxury travel vs. casual social media.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and "on-the-move" around the property to capture content.

Language Requirements:

-Fluency in English(written and verbal) is required for all positions to ensure effective communication across the resort. -Proficiency in Frenchor other languages (e.g., German, Spanish, Mandarin) is considered asignificant assetfor customer-facing roles.
