The Role:
The Resident Experience Coordinator (REC) at our high-rise rental properties in Ottawa is a dynamic role dedicated to enhancing Resident satisfaction. The REC is a key player in ensuring an outstanding living experience in our buildings, functioning similarly to a hotel concierge but with responsibilities tailored to long term residential accommodations.
As the primary liaison with residents, you will curate exceptional services, events, and experiences while maintaining the property’s reputation for elegance, innovation, and excellence. Your role also involves building strong connections with the local community and aligning resident experiences with Richcraft’s legacy of creating vibrant, sustainable urban spaces.
In this role you will:
- Act as the primary contact for Resident queries regarding building systems, amenities, and processes, including guidance on online systems.
Sub-Activities: System Guidance, General Queries, Technology Assistance. - Collect and analyze Resident feedback, communicating with operations and leasing teams for service improvements.
Sub-Activities: Feedback Surveys (Monthly), Focus Group Coordination (Monthly), Data Analysis. - Inform Residents about building amenities and local services.
Sub-Activities: Amenity Tours, Neighborhood Exploration, Vendor Relations. - Assist in leasing and Resident retention campaigns.
Sub-Activities: Event Planning, Marketing Assistance, Resident Communication. - Address escalated Resident issues, working with the property manager.
Sub-Activities: Issue Resolution, Follow-up, Coordination with Property Manager. - Regular reporting to the property manager and leasing Manager, including monthly interaction summaries.
Sub-Activities: Report Preparation, Data Collection, Supervisor Meetings. - Train concierge personnel on building systems and amenities.
Sub-Activities: Training Sessions, Material Preparation, Staff Assessment. - Design and execute exclusive resident events such as poolside dinners and art exhibits, integrating support from local vendors and community partners. Foster connections between residents and the Ottawa community by promoting local culture, businesses and initiatives. Introduce innovative lifestyle services that align with both local and international lifestyle trends
What you bring:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Property Management, or a combination of education and direct pertinent experience.
- Minimum of 2+ years in high end hospitality setting, or lifestyle management, ideally within a high-rise or hospitality environment.
- Be familiar with property management and CRM systems.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering personalized, high-end services to the discerning clientele.
- Strong organizational skills, exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Have knowledge of curated lifestyle trends and resident engagement best practices and have a good understanding of Ottawa’s local culture, businesses and community dynamics.
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 Annually
