Job Description

You are forward thinking and can support the IT Security branch with the analysis and implementation of business objectives and strategies into IT Security processes, enabled by security technology and services.

You Have
A college diploma or university degree in Computer Science or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in IT Experience with AWS security services, and DevSecOps practices, including integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines and securing cloud environments Experience with scripting languages (ie. Python, Powershell/Terraform) and in securing cloud environments Applied knowledge of common security vulnerabilities, threats and remediation strategies including knowledge of industry compliance and security standards Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards as well as technical knowledge of layer 2 and Layer 3 networking Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot systems issues, assess potential risks, and consider possible solutions Sound communication skills to educate users on the importance of security and protecting their data Strong organization skills to effectively manage multiple projects throughout the life of the project, in a fast-paced agile environment Ability to effectively work with staff within IT and across the corporation and influence others to adopt security best practices
Nice To Have
An educational specialization in computer/cyber security SSCP, Security+, CISSP, GCIH, GPEN, CEH and OSCP or equivalent work experience At least 2 year of experience in IT Security A practical understanding of agile methodology
What You Will Do
Implement security blueprints and roadmaps aligned with corporate strategic objectives and IT strategy while ensuring security documentation is updated and maintained Contribute to IT security projects and create project implementation plans to improve security posture Produce, review and analyze IT Security dashboards, metrics and reports Act as the 2nd level of incident response support and conduct post incident reviews Analyze data and conduct threat hunting activities always staying one step ahead of potential attacks Research IT Security best practices and staying up to date on relevant technologies Lead IT Security reviews of MPAC services and systems to ensure that they are operating within the required Security framework
