Job Title: Telecom Civil / Drafting Engineer
Location: Montreal, QC (Remote) Experience: 6–8 Years Language: Bilingual (French & English)
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Telecom Civil/Drafting Engineer with 6–8 years of experience in telecom infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in civil and structural drafting, telecom site design, and construction drawing preparation. Bilingual French/English communication skills are required to support projects across Quebec and Canada.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review civil and structural drawings for telecom infrastructure projects. Develop site plans, foundation drawings, tower-related civil layouts, and construction documentation. Support telecom network deployment projects, including new builds and site upgrades. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure design accuracy. Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, client requirements, and local regulations. Perform revisions and updates based on project changes and field feedback. Maintain drafting documentation and project records.
Required Skills
6–8 years of experience in Telecom Civil/Drafting Engineering. Strong experience in Civil Drafting and Structural Drafting. Hands-on experience with Telecom Infrastructure projects (towers, rooftops, small cells, fiber, etc.). Proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting/design tools. Knowledge of civil engineering and structural design principles. Ability to interpret engineering specifications and construction drawings. Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on telecom projects in Canada, particularly Quebec. Familiarity with telecom permitting, municipal requirements, and industry standards. Experience supporting remote, multi-site telecom deployments. Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field.
