About the role
Hello. It’s nice to meet you. If you’re looking for a challenge, you’ve come to the right place. We can’t promise where you’ll go, but we do promise no two All Weather journeys are the same because no matter who you are or where you come from, we’re all building something. Every single one of us. Whether it’s a home, a career, a family or a future, we’re all searching for growth. This is our story too. For more than 45 years, we’ve built the All Weather Group into the largest privately owned and operated window, door and glass manufacturer in the country. But in some ways, we’re just getting started.
Are you ready for this? At the All Weather Group, you’ll be challenged to think on your feet, learn on the job and make an impact in big and small ways. We won’t hold your hand but we will have your back in helping you build the skills, experience and career you deserve.
We’re looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our Edmonton manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll help create a safe, healthy, and positive workplace across all areas of our plant — from manufacturing and maintenance to quality and engineering.
This is a hands-on role in a busy manufacturing environment. It’s not always easy — you’ll face challenges, make tough calls, and be right in the action. But you will also get the opportunity to work with dedicated people who care about quality, safety, and doing things the right way.
What You’ll Do
- Build positive relationships across departments to support a strong safety culture.
- Lead and support COR compliance, including annual internal audits.
- Deliver engaging safety orientations, training, and toolbox talks.
- Plan and track safety inspections, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation.
- Monitor and reinforce compliance with the All Weather at Home Health & Safety Program.
- Support supervisors with thorough, timely incident investigations.
- Participate in hazard assessments and the Joint Health & Safety Committee.
- Analyze incident and injury data, prepare trend reports, and act on findings.
- Keep Safety Data Sheets and Emergency Response Plans current and accessible.
- Lead monthly safety meetings and support WCB claims management.
- Train leaders on using Intelex for health and safety performance tracking.
Are you built for this? We hire as much for attitude as we do for experience, because who you are is just as important as what you can do. Here’s who and what we’re looking for.
- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
- NCSO or MSO designation, Certified ACSA COR Auditor, and Standard First Aid.
- 3+ years’ experience in health and safety within a manufacturing or plant setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills — able to influence others and build trust.
- Collaborative mindset with the confidence to coach, guide, and support diverse teams.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail; able to juggle multiple priorities.
- Problem-solving skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply OH&S legislation and best practices.
- Valid Alberta driver’s license, clean abstract, and ability to pass pre-employment testing.
Let’s get after it. Every day at All Weather is an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and move one step closer to your goals. What’s in it for you? Our story It all began in 1978 in Edmonton, Alberta when a farmer, a salesman and a railroader created All Weather Windows. We’re continuously working to build and promote an inclusive environment that attracts, celebrates and promotes diversity, equity and inclusion by every definition. Where everyone can bring their best and full selves to work, because what makes you different, makes all the difference to us.
The ability to make an impact. The All Weather Group is a place where potential finds opportunity, leadership truly listens and the ability to make an impact has nothing to do with your title. We know none of us are better, smarter or stronger than all of us. So, we invite people at all levels of the organization to speak up, chip in and put ideas into action to help shape our work, careers and company.
A culture of connection and care. People are the beating heart of our tight-knit community, so their growth is an important way we live up to our purpose, to never stop building. We make a difference. We’re honoured to have been recognized as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies 14 years in a row. But, we also know that we’re far from perfect. We’re committed to positively impacting careers, lives and communities across Canada and proudly give back in four key areas; strengthening families, providing shelter, supporting education and, health and wellness. Over the years this has included charitable giving, partnerships, employee volunteerism and supporting families in need, but one thing never changes – we show up for the moments that matter. If you’re passionate about creating a positive impact too, we need your voice to help grow this proud cultural tradition, because our work here is never done.
