THE ROLE An established organization is seeking a Payroll Associate for a 3-month temporary contract. This position is ideal for someone with payroll or accounting experience who’s looking to gain hands-on exposure in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Payroll Associate will assist with payroll functions for both BC and Montreal locations. While this role does not involve full-cycle payroll processing, it plays a key part in supporting the team to ensure accuracy and smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the payroll team.
  • Assist with payroll documentation, reports, and employee records.
  • Help ensure compliance and accuracy in payroll-related activities.
  • Act as a reliable backup for the primary payroll contact when required.
  • Collaborate with HR and Accounting to maintain seamless payroll coordination.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in payroll or accounting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable handling confidential information.
  • Experience with ADP or Workforce is an asset (training provided).
  • PCP certification not required.
