Job Description As an Engineering Domain Manager , you will play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering and PLM-driven solutions across Canada and the United States. You will define and deliver robust architectures that address complex business challenges, champion our integration solutions to customers and partners, and represent our brand as a thought leader within the technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the full scope of Sopra Steria’s engineering business line.
  • Design and implement PLM solutions that create measurable business value (e.g., product lifecycle management, CAD/ERP integration, document management).
  • Oversee upgrade cycles and continuous improvement initiatives for large-scale PLM deployments.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business needs, translate them into PLM use cases, and lead the solution design process.
  • Address broader engineering challenges and principles related to manufacturing and engineering domains (e.g., Digital Mock-Ups (DMUs), Configuration Management, manufacturing process simulations).
  • Define architecture frameworks, standards, and best practices for projects across the North American business unit.
  • Support sales and pre-sales efforts by clearly articulating the value of PLM solutions to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Promote and advocate for our PLM capabilities in the local market through events, conferences, publications, and networking forums.
  • Build strong relationships with industrial, technology, and business communities to enhance our presence and reputation in Montreal.
  • Mentor internal teams and contribute to developing PLM expertise across the organization.

Qualifications Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in technology solutions, including at least 5 years in engineering solution architecture and delivery with a focus on PLM.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering integrated PLM systems that drive tangible business impact.
  • Deep knowledge of major PLM platforms (3DEXPERIENCE, Teamcenter, Windchill) and integration practices (CAD, ERP, MES).
  • Expertise in product data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to engage effectively with both executives and technical teams.
  • Recognized experience as a speaker, author, or thought leader in the aerospace industry is a strong plus.
  • Active network or participation in the industrial/PLM ecosystem preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
