You will design, build, and support enterprise‑grade applications and automations using Power Apps (Canvas and Model‑Driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, and related Microsoft cloud services.

You will also champion the use of AI‑assisted development tools—including Copilot in Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and approved LLMs—to accelerate delivery and introduce intelligent capabilities such as data extraction, classification, summarization, and natural‑language interactions. As an advocate for the Power Platform, you will support governance, provide maker enablement, contribute to Center of Excellence maturity, and ensure solutions align with organizational security, privacy, and compliance standards.
In this hybrid role, you will be required to commute to either our Edmonton and of Calgary office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Partner with business teams to understand goals, pain points, and workflow challenges, translating them into intuitive, scalable Power Platform solutions.

- Identify automation opportunities with stakeholders and convert requirements into secure, enterprise‑ready solution designs.
- Build and optimize Power Automate flows (cloud and desktop) to support integrations, background automation, event‑based logic, and business process improvements.
- Develop reusable components such as UI templates, flow patterns, error‑handling modules, and telemetry/logging frameworks to increase delivery consistency and efficiency.
- Manage work in Jira or Azure Boards, including backlogs, sprints, and story/task tracking, and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Integrate solutions with Dataverse, SQL/Azure SQL, SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook, Azure services, and REST APIs using secure, least‑privilege access patterns.
- Produce high‑quality documentation including Process/Solution design documents, test cases, data mappings, deployment guides, and runbooks.
- Use Git‑based workflows and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.) to support automated builds and deployments.
- Support Power Platform administration activities such as environment governance, DLP policy compliance, security role alignment, and Dataverse housekeeping.
- Provide production support, including incident/problem management, flow troubleshooting, and operational reliability improvements.
- Contribute to the Digital Workplace Center of Excellence—enable maker training, support governance guardrails and monitoring, and align with security, privacy, and records‑management standards.
- Mentor junior developers and business makers, promoting best practices and building overall Power Platform capability across the organization.
- Stay current with new Power Platform capabilities, roadmap updates, licensing impacts, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:
- Proven experience partnering with business teams to map processes, define outcomes, and co‑design solutions—translating needs into scalable Power Platform implementations.
- A related degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Eight years plus of application or automation development experience, including Five plus years of developing enterprise solutions on the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
- Deep technical proficiency across the Power Platform ecosystem, seamlessly integrating Dataverse architecture, Canvas/Model-Driven Apps, and advanced Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop) automation strategies.
- Demonstrated capability in modern application development, including Power Fx, JavaScript, C#, and PowerShell.
- Experience integrating with Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Key Vault, API Management, Service Bus) and REST APIs; familiarity with premium dev capabilities (plugins, Power Apps Component Framework, custom connectors) is an asset.
