POSITION: MERCHANDISING MANAGER - RTW&SHOES (MEN & WOMEN) – GREATER CHINA

LONG-TERM CONTRACT / CHINA

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

AS MERCHANDISING MANAGER, AND PART OF THE MERCHANDISING TEAM, YOU WILL PARTICIPATE IN DEVELOPING THE RTW&SHOES PRODUCT MERCHANDISING STRATEGY OF CELINE FOR BOTH WOMEN’S & MEN’S.

YOU WILL BE IN CHARGE OF GREATER CHINA BUYING, ASSORTMENT & SALES FOLLOW UP, ENSURING BALANCE BETWEEN BRAND IMAGE AND MAXIMISING COMMERCIAL OPPORTUNITIES.

YOUR IMPACT

BUYING & ASSORTMENT

  • TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PREPARATION OF OTB
  • TO DEFINE THE ASSORTMENT, PRODUCT MIX AND DEPTH BY REFERENCE ACCORDING TO THE SPECIFICITY OF EACH STORE, WHILE RESPECTING CORE OFFER AND CENTRAL GUIDELINES.

MERCHANDISING, TRAINING & DISPLAY

  • TO PREPARE PRODUCT INFORMATION FOR RETAIL TEAMS & CO-ANIMATE COLLECTION TRAINING WITH TRAINING TEAMS
  • FOLLOW UP OF DELIVERIES WITH SUPPLY CHAIN
  • DISCUSS WITH VM TEAM FOR A MARKET-TAILORED IMPLEMENTATION OF CENTRAL GUIDELINES, AT LAUNCH AND IN-SEASON.
  • ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN CRM EVENTS (PRODUCT OFFER, ON-SITE SUPPORT)

COMMERCIAL FOLLOW-UP

  • TO PREPARE WEEKLY, MONTHLY REPORTS
  • DRIVE & PILOT SALES: PROPOSE REORDERS TO CENTRAL, MAXIMIZE ST VIA REBALANCING
  • PROPOSE WEEKLY ACTION PLANS IF NECESSARY, HAND IN HAND WITH RETAIL
  • PARTNER WITH CENTRAL TO DEFINE SECOND-LIFE STRATEGY (MARKDOWN, OUTLETS)
  • TO CONDUCT MARKET RESEARCH ON TRENDS, COMPETITORS’ PRODUCT OFFER AND PRICING
  • IMPACTFUL MARKET NEEDS TO FEEDBACK TO CENTRAL ON A MONTHLY BASIS

KEYS FOR SUCCESS

EDUCATION:

  • BACHELOR OR ABOVE

EXPERIENCE:

  • 6 YEARS BUYING / MERCHANDISING IN LUXURY BRANDS, WITH EXPERIENCE IN WOMEN’S RTW
  • KNOWLEDGE OF FASHION

COMPETENCIES:

  • STRONG ANALYTICAL ABILITY BOTH QUANTITATIVE AND QUALITATIVE
  • GOOD INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILL
  • GOOD PC LITERACY (EXCEL, POWERPOINT)
  • GOOD COMMAND OF ENGLISH AND MANDARIN
  • PLEASANT, SELF-MOTIVATED, PROACTIVE, RESULT-ORIENTED, TEAM PLAYER

LANGUAGES: FLUENT IN MANDARIN AND ENGLISH
