About the role
The role of the SharePoint Administrator includes the management of the Defense Solutions SharePoint environment (user base of approximately 1100 employees). This responsibility requires a high level of technical expertise with SharePoint and Form/Workflow Design tools. This high level of expertise is needed to be able to develop the tailored collaboration sites required by development projects as well the complex applications needed for process automation. These applications are unique in their requirements necessitating the development of new ways and methods of achieving desired results and metrics to drive business decisions.
This position reports into the Engineering Services and Program Management organization.

Your Challenge
- Site administration of the SharePoint Suite for the entire Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions business
- Managing the support of SharePoint via the CW IT Helpdesk
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and design of new forms and workflows to assist in those process improvement projects
- Automation of entire manual processes using Nintex forms and workflows, and creating a SharePoint site for the application
- Researching and documenting the requirements of potential users of manual processes being automated
- Structuring of a release plan for certain automation applications based on complexity
- Reporting Cost Savings realized by the implementation of process improvements
- Providing backup support for the IT Corporate SharePoint environment
- Providing ad hoc training and guidance for users as well as additional training for Power Users
What You Bring
- Minimum 10 years experience working in a high-tech and/or electronics engineering/manufacturing environment
- Minimum 10 years experience working in SharePoint environment
- Excellent working knowledge of SharePoint and Nintex and office productivity tools (Microsoft Office)
