The Position: The Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of goods within the supply chain. This role involves planning, purchasing, and managing inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency. The Supply Planner collaborates closely with various departments, including sales, marketing and logistics, to align supply chain processes with business objectives. This role has a strong supply planning and analytical focus beyond traditional purchasing.

What you’ll do: This role is responsible for a variety of functions that include, but are not limited to:

Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Implement inventory control policies and procedures. Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement and delivery of materials and products. Order Management: Oversee the ordering process, ensuring that supplier orders are processed and delivered on time. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze supply chain data and generate reports and present findings to management. Risk Identification and Management: Anticipate potential disruptions in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels. Master Data: Create and maintain material master data in the system to ensure it is correct and up to date

Requirements: The successful individual will possess the following skills and qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. It’s an asset to have 2-3 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or a related area. Certifications (asset): APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). Have excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office, strong in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, Power Query or VBA is an asset) Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively. Must be able to work independently with little supervision and be able to work quickly with high accuracy. Confidence in asking questions and clarification on tasks assigned. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Must have the ability to strategically develop systems that will have longevity. Positive, responsible, and self-motivated with demonstrated problem-solving skills.

Hours and Locations: Flexible 7.5-hour shift within office hours 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Mississauga (Meadowvale area) Hybrid work model (3x in the office)
