💼 Job description:

Job Title: Project Manager – Lead and Deliver World Class Automation Projects

We’re looking for a driven Project Manager to lead the successful execution of automation projects from start to finish. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between our customers and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer expectations. Leveraging your organizational and leadership skills, you’ll manage scope, schedule, and resources while fostering collaboration across departments. Some international travel is required, meeting with industry leaders!

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 CAD

Requests above of the salary range is available and determined by the hiring process.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

Manage and execute project deadlines, contractual requirements, scope of work, and equipment delivery. Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) by executing test plans, managing customer expectations, securing sign-off, and generating FAT reports. Drive critical success factors with key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within agreed scope, time, and quality. Manage and reconcile project capacity and milestones through close collaboration with engineering, production, and service departments. Identify issues that may impede progress and implement corrective actions or escalate as needed. Communicate project progress clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.

📚 Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or related discipline. 5+ years of project management experience in automation, packaging equipment, or custom machine building environments. Strong ability to manage multiple projects while effectively prioritizing tasks. Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English. Proven track record of improving performance, meeting commitments, and achieving results. Ability to travel internationally when required.

Pack-Smart Inc. is based in Concord, Ontario. A hub for advanced manufacturing with access to urban amenities, close to highway 400 and 407. There is free parking available on-site. Our facility is clean with great lighting, fostering innovation and collaboration!
