Position Summary Operate and maintain heavy, motorized clamshell crane equipment used in remediation operations in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy, motorized crane equipment used in remediation operations to support a variety of heavy earthworks operations.
- Use hand-held mobile radio units to coordinate tasks and resources.
- Read and comply with safety plans, rules, maintenance instructions, training materials, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), warning tags, traffic signs and procedure manuals.
- Follow all safety guidelines, protocols, and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, and bystanders. Conduct pre-operational inspections of cranes to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential hazards.
- Safely lift, move, and position heavy materials, equipment, and machinery using the crane. Determine load capacities, rigging requirements, and appropriate lifting techniques for each task.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with other team members, including signalers or riggers, to coordinate lifting operations and ensure safe load movement.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspection of cranes, including lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs. Report any equipment malfunctions or defects to the appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate records and logbooks related to clamshell crane operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents or accidents that occur during work hours.
- Ability to travel, work extended hours.
- Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Two plus years of crane operation/maintenance experience.
- CCO Mobile Crane Operator Certification for Lattice Boom Crawler Cranes (LBC).
Preferred Qualifications

Physical Demands & Work Environment This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, extended standing or walking on project sites, climbing in and out of equipment,
and working in confined spaces or at heights. Work conditions and demands may vary, with possible exposure to heavy
machinery, chemicals, dust, fumes, noise, and extreme weather. Proper PPE, including protective eyewear, gloves, a
hard hat, and steel-toed boots, is required. Effective communication, tool use, and adherence to safety protocols are
essential.
