TNL Manufacturing is currently looking for Industrial Sewers for a job opportunity in Edmonton.

Responsibilities:

• Sew together various fabric materials to form the different components of insulation covers

• Perform tasks including cutting, sewing and handling of materials.

• Safely and efficiently use sewing tools such as measuring tapes, scissors and machines.

• Produce quality products consistently and meet established production times.

• Follow all safety precautions to prevent injury or equipment damage.

• Work in a fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities.

• Maintain a positive work atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years previous experience as an Industrial Sewer

• Able to use various industrial sewing machines and tools

• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination

• Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities.

• Able to speak and understand English

• Reliable with a good attendance record

• Able to work extended hours as required

Physical Demands

Candidates need to be able to manage the physically demanding nature of this position. There is a mix of repetitive tasks, including sitting, sewing, standing, lifting, and moving objects.

Work Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, employees frequently work in an indoor production environment, work near moving mechanical parts and are regularly exposed to airborne particles or fumes and some vibration.

Use of required personal protective equipment.
