THE POSITION
Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation (CSEC) is currently looking for candidates to complete an internship with the Calgary Hitmen, Calgary Roughnecks, and Calgary Wranglers for an eight (8) month term, beginning in October 2025. The candidate will report to the Calgary Wranglers Manager of Business Operations.
The paid internship program provides opportunities for individuals interested in learning what CSEC sport and entertainment teams do while contributing to the work of the Calgary Hitmen, Calgary Roughnecks, and Calgary Wranglers business operations team.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Assist with the coordination and execution of in-game promotions for the Hitmen, Roughnecks, Wranglers;

Assist with the coordination and execution of Hitmen, Roughnecks, Wranglers community activations and appearances;

Administrative tasks as assigned;
-
Work game nights where required;

Active participation in the Safety Program and follow all safety rules.

All other duties as assigned.
THE INDIVIDUAL
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following background:

Recently completed or working towards a degree or certificate in one of the following areas: Public Relations, Communications, Business or Sports Marketing/Management;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional demeanor;

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs;
-
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a team environment to ensure the customers experience is met and exceeded;
-
This internship requires a reliable source of transportation as some events are off site;
-
Schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as dictated by the event schedule.

Available for 20-30 hours a week with the majority of hours falling on game nights.
This position will remain open until 3:00pm Monday, September 15th, 2025.
