This role includes a mix of local deliveries and long-haul transportation across Canada and the United States. You will report to our Transportation & Safety Coordinator.

Job Responsibilities

• Pickup and deliver John Deere and other OEM equipment from factories, dealers and customers in USA, Canada and locally between our 11 locations
• Secure loads, including equipment preparation, application of safe practices, compliance with applicable Acts and regulations
• Perform trip inspections on equipment operated and load, ensuring safety and roadworthiness
• Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver's hours of service, occupational health and safety,
• Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
• Maintain E-logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable regulations.
• Record and maintain required documentation including driver logbook, bills of lading, etc.
• Responsible for loading and unloading truck/trailer
• Deliver products and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Agricultural knowledge/experience of operating & loading equipment
• Wide Load trucking experience with knowledge of permits
• Double Drop trailer experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience driving with an AZ license
• Clean Driver’s Abstract required
• Ability to cross borders – must have passport, TWIC card preferred
• Good geographical knowledge of Canada and USA
• Operation of various agricultural equipment with a strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent time management skills with timely completion of tasks
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude
• Ability to lift 75 pounds or greater on a daily/regular basis
• Experience with computers and software systems.
• Flexibility to work scheduled and extended hours.

Salary Range

• $30-$35 per hour
• Placement within the wage range is based on skills, experience and qualifications
• Applicants with more or less experience and qualifications may be placed outside the salary range
