Job Summary
We are seeking a ServiceNow Configuration Analyst for a 6 month contract opportunity to support, configure, and enhance the ServiceNow platform. The role focuses on configuring ServiceNow ITOM module, optimizing workflows, maintaining CMDB data integrity, and ensuring platform stability while following ServiceNow best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow ITOM modules
- Configure and maintain relationships into ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge
- Manage and maintain the CMDB
- Manage and maintain data coming into the CMDB from peripheral sources such as Intune, SCCM and JAMF
- Design and configure forms, workflows, Flow Designer, UI Policies, Business Rules, and Client Scripts
- Maintain CMDB accuracy, relationships, and alignment with CSDM
- Support platform upgrades, patching, testing, and deployments
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into ServiceNow configurations
- Troubleshoot issues and provide production support
- Create and maintain configuration and process documentation
- Develop basic reports and dashboards
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow governance and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of hands-on ServiceNow configuration experience
- Strong knowledge of ITOM, ITSM and ITIL processes
- Experience with:
- Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts
- Flow Designer / Workflow Editor
- Service Catalog and Request Management
- CMDB and CSDM fundamentals
- Basic JavaScript knowledge
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Experience with ITOM, ITSM, or CSM modules
- Experience supporting ServiceNow upgrades
