About the role

What you'll do

If you are looking to grow with a dynamic and collaborative team, work with top sport properties, marketing partners, athletes, and help break down barriers to sport, you probably belong here with us. The Coordinator, Sports Partnerships will support the team on a variety of initiatives across our family of companies including partner relations, contractual asset fulfillment and tracking, activation programming, event execution and reporting, administrative support, and budget tracking.

  • Provide activation support as required (build work-back plans, track asset usage, facilitate content development, track expenses, prepare briefs and wrap reports)
  • Track KPI’s, including updating databases, budget trackers, and weekly event lists
  • Update project plans, manage project requests, and track progress including budget, timelines and deliverables
  • Support the day-to-day execution of strategic partners by being the information hub for strategy, planning and administration for the Partnership team

What you bring

  • A recent grad with previous transferrable work experience and/or education in Marketing/Events/Sports Management/Business/Sponsorship
  • Experience in retail, brand management, sport property, athlete management and/or games experience (i.e. Olympics) an asset
  • Passionate about sport from grassroots to high performance
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, prioritize and deliver programs and tactics on time and on budget in an ambiguous, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional team across multiple banners
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills
  • Bilingual an asset but not required (French and English) – speaking, reading, writing
  • Retail experience an asset
  • Sport marketing/partnership experience an asset
