Job description

The Security Specialist, Threat Management is responsible for the following:

  • Operating and maintaining security solutions within their area of responsibility;
  • Ensuring production stability and the sustainability of controls;
  • Perform security analyses in their area of expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, design, develop, deploy, test, and implement security capabilities and processes;
  • Write and maintain technical documentation related to platform engineering;
  • Provide expert support for platform-related processes;
  • Create, maintain, and ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, frameworks, guidelines, and control standards;
  • Support service delivery management activities for the platform.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the technology field, including at least 5 years in security;
  • In-depth expertise in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), particularly Tanium;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in deploying and managing EDR technologies;
  • Previous experience in EDR project or program governance;
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python;
  • Experience in developing and maintaining tools, procedures, and documentation;
  • In-depth understanding of security technologies and concepts;
  • Ability to present complex solutions and methods to a non-technical audience;
  • Security certifications are a strong asset;
  • Team management experience is a plus;
  • Excellent communication skills in English are required as the position involves communicating with stakeholders outside Quebec.
