About the role

Our current hybrid model requires employees to work on-site three days per week. This schedule supports collaboration while offering flexibility. Please note that on-site requirements may change at any time based on operational needs.

The Finance Systems & Data Analyst delivers accurate financial services and analysis, ensuring compliance with controls, contracts, legislation, and industry standards. This role leads process improvements, provides technical guidance to junior staff, and supports strategic projects by optimizing financial systems, transferring knowledge, and mitigating risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide strategic financial advise, recommendations, and subject matter expertise
  • Analyze, audit and interpret financial and statistical data to ensure accuracy and identify trends
  • Develop and maintain reports, forecasting models, and complex financial models for strategic projects
  • Ensure compliance with fiscal, regulatory and contractual requirements
  • Identify opportunity to improve financial performance, reduce costs, and enhance processes
  • Maintain and optimize departmental tools, systems, and documentation for accuracy and reliability
  • Implement new processes and systems with appropriate controls for quality assurance and automation
  • Support knowledge transfer, staff training, and act as a resource for escalated issues
  • Monitor strategic initiatives, assess risks, and recommend solutions
  • Stay current with emerging practices and technologies to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or relevant field.
  • MBA, Master of Finance or Data Analytics (preferred).
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) (preferred).
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms.
  • Strong ability to interpret financial data, build models, and provide strategic insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SQL for data visualization and reporting.
  • Skilled in identifying trends, assessing risks, and recommending improvements.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication; ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in optimizing workflows, developing policies, and implementing system enhancements.
  • Ability to support or lead strategic initiatives, manage timelines, and monitor progress.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations, financial compliance, and clinical data standards.
