

About the role
The Fastener Group, a well-established wholesaler of tools and fasteners across Western Canada is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our growing sales team. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, expanding business opportunities, and driving sales growth throughout Calgary and the surrounding area. This position requires frequent travel within the territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product lines to provide effective solutions.
- Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
- Deliver knowledgeable product support tailored to customer needs.
- Prepare and present quotes, process orders, and maintain accurate records in company systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure outstanding customer service and support.
- Represent The Fastener Group with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably within the tools and fasteners industry.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to work independently while remaining highly service-oriented.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven, positive attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
- Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
