The ideal Dental Receptionist for our team will ensure the smooth operation of the dental office by managing front desk activities and serving as the first point of contact for patients. This position requires handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, managing insurance claims, posting payments and maintaining billing records, which supports the financial health of the practice. SCHEDULE:
- Monday 8 am -5 pm
- Tuesdays 8 am -5 pm
- Wednesdays 8 am- 5pm
- Thursdays 8 am -5 pm
- Friday 8 am - 3 pm
- 1 Saturday/ month 8 am - 2 pm
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Post-secondary education or certification in dental office administration or a related field.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance claim processes.
- Knowledge of Canadian dental insurance policies and billing procedures.
- Experience with Abdeldent is considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Customer service mindset
