About the role
Our client is seeking a Security Architect based in Regina with a robust background in infrastructure architecture and recovery planning, with proven experience conducting Threat and Risk Assessments (TRAs) and implementing risk mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in Microsoft Azure environments, with the ability to design secure and scalable solutions that align with enterprise governance standards. This role demands a strategic thinker who can collaborate across teams to strengthen their security posture while supporting operational resilience.
Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To
- Provide sound architectural guidance on security requirements to projects and operational teams.
- Participate in / perform cyber security threat risk assessments and security analysis. This includes assessing cloud and on-premise applications.
- Produce deliverables in the form of reports and documented recommendations that SaskPower would consider implementing, and recommendations to Enterprise Security as requested.
Your strengths include:
- Azure Experience/Security Project Experience
- CISSP certified or similar
- Proven experience conducting Threat and Risk Assessments (TRAs)
- Proven track record in conducting TRAs, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending actionable mitigation strategies aligned with governance standards.
