As the Technology Administrator, M365 at Sinai Health you will lead the technical administration and provide oversight of our Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Your customer service mindset defines how you provide support to a diverse workforce. You recognize that time sensitive support, escalation and resolution of Incidents is paramount in a fast-paced setting clinical, and knowledge work setting. By balancing security protocols with the practical needs users, you ensure that M365 technology remains a coveted enabler. This mindset also informs your communication, where you’ll provide practical solutions with clarity to individuals of varying technical competencies. This ability to bridge technical complexity and human need is what transforms platform support into a genuine enabler of care delivery.
In this role you will:
- Implement Microsoft 365 solutions, including migration from on-premises systems to the cloud
- Oversee the day-to-day administration, lifecycle management of the Sinai Health M365 tenant including but not limited to Account Administration, Security, Performance, Backup, SharePoint, One Drive, Teams, Exchange, Office, Conditional Access, MDM- AirWatch and Intune
- Maintain related process, licensing, and technical documentation. Ensure records of hardware, software licenses inventory are complete and accurately maintained in a timely manner, providing reports and audits as required
- Provide technical and functional support to customers as a subject matter expert for M365, and related EUC and mobile devices ensuring all requests are logged, tracked, escalated, and resolved in accordance with Service Levels. Monitor support from other parties, acting as a point of escalation and liaison with the vendor as required
- Provide senior technical, VIP and escalations support- for all M365 hardware, software, mobile devices, including operating systems Windows 10/11/IOS/Android, and relevant applications
- Support lifecycle management, evergreening, road map planning and optimization driving adoption, standardization, automation, best practices, sustainability and innovation
- Ensure all images, deployments, recoveries and retired EUC assets are handled in accordance with configuration standards and inventory management processes
- Support financial planning, procure in accordance with policies and procedures
- Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required

Post-Secondary diploma in a related field

3 years’ progressive experience in an M365 technical support and help desk function

M365 Certified Administrator Certificate completed or in progress
Preferred
- ITIL Foundations certification is an asset
- CompTIA A+, Network +, Microsoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator, CCNA certifications are an asset
- Experience with clinical applications
- Previous experience in a health care environment
Skills and Knowledge

Strong proficiency with various software applications including Microsoft M365

Competent working knowledge of server operating systems including Microsoft Windows Server / Active Directory, Azure

Good understanding of LAN/WAN concepts including client/server architecture, file and print, TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS, and DNS

Demonstrated proficiency in communication skills, both verbal and written

Proven ability to quickly learn modern technologies
