About the role

Job Description

As an Unregulated Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to residents in a retirement community. Your role will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Supporting residents with mobility and transfers.
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' health and well-being.
  • Engaging residents in social and recreational activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a Personal Support Worker (PSW) program or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in First Aid and CPR.
  • Experience working with seniors or in a retirement community.

Additional Information

  • This position is part-time and requires availability for day shifts.
