About the role

Some of what you will do:

The Senior Integrated Marketing Specialist will support the Integrated Marketing team in partnering with the business units and channels within Staples to create and execute world class marketing plans that drive incremental traffic, increase brand identity and customer loyalty. Their role will play a critical function in ensuring consistency to messaging across all media. Acting as a liaise between the business function leaders and marketing, they will assist in the translation of overall business needs into marketing campaigns and programs. They will participate in the assessment of the overall health and strength of campaigns and provide recommendations on changes or improvements.

Specifically, You Will:

  • Create integrated marketing campaigns that meet business and marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Partner with appropriate teams to ensure overall process of creation, implementation, communication and monitoring of marketing campaigns in their portfolio.
  • Participate in team meetings and play a role in calendar planning for the team to ensure visibility to key dates, meeting requirements and budget updates.
  • Deliver and monitor results; ensure stated objectives are delivered on plan (monitor/ early indicators) and where required, take corrective actions to achieve targets.
  • Analyze past results and makes recommendations to maximize return on investment.
  • Stay current with industry and marketing trends to ensure continuous improvement and ongoing skills development. Take an active role in finding process improvements to drive increased efficiency in the marketing team.
  • Build and analyze reports to provide visibility into marketing campaign results and measure campaign effectiveness, including outbound marketing metrics, lead distribution, opportunity stages, pipeline contribution, and ROI.

Some of what you need:

  • Post-secondary education with a focus in Marketing or Communications
  • Good business acumen, resourceful and responsive to change
  • Aptitude to process and optimize processes
  • Great collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast-paced workplace
  • 3-5 years prior experience in Marketing Coordination function
  • Experience in retail industry marketing is a definite asset.
  • Excellent analytical skills, for performance reporting of marketing data
  • High proficiency using Microsoft Office programs.

Physical demands/working conditions:

Office environment – Hybrid, with 4 days onsite in Richmond Hill, subject to the hybrid policy.
