Job Description This newly created role is a strategic addition to our Talent Acquisition team, designed to elevate immigration compliance, internal mobility, and talent sourcing strategies while ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will combine knowledge of Canadian immigration pathways (including Quebec-specific programs) with hands-on experience in recruiting and offer administration, acting as both a strategic advisor and an execution partner.

Job Responsibilities
Strategic Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of Canadian immigration programs, including Quebec-specific pathways, and proactively research relevant policies and agreements (e.g., Francophone, NAFTA/CUSMA, Young Professionals) to support in recommending effective hiring strategies.
- Enhance the Employee Referral Program by simplifying the process and introducing tracking tools to monitor referral activity, hire rates, and role-specific performance?driving higher participation and smarter insights.
- Lead the internal TA newsletter to boost visibility and engagement?highlighting open roles and creatively promoting talent programs?in collaboration with HR, TA, and internal communications.
- Source early talent by building strategic partnerships with hospitality programs at colleges and universities?supporting hiring through internships, co-ops, and trainee pipelines tailored to regional needs.
Hands-On Operational Responsibilities
- Maintain immigration program records and provide timely updates and reports to HR and managers.
- Review and screen job bank applications, ensuring proper documentation for immigration processes.
- Prepare and process salaried offers through the HR system, managing background checks and onboarding.
- Audit and manage offer templates and translations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Update Talent Acquisition SOPs and troubleshoot system/process issues to support seamless hiring.
- Collaborate with immigration consultant and partners to review / complete Employer Portal offers, track invoices, and maintain compliance documentation.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor?s degree in HR, Business, or related field.

Experience:

3 - 5 years in Talent Acquisition, with at least 2 years focused on immigration or global mobility.

Proven experience with Canadian immigration programs, including IRCC and Quebec-specific pathways.

Hands-on experience with offer administration and onboarding processes.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in ATS and HRIS systems; strong reporting skills (Excel, Power BI).

Language: Fluency in English and French would be considered an asset.
