Summer Marketing Assistant (Full-time for 8 week) Opportunity:
The Marketing Assistant is responsible for assisting the Marketing Coordinator with our Throwin’ it Back Golf Tournament fundraiser and overall awareness on Vantage Community Services. This is a perfect opportunity for a student of an applicant wanting experience in the field.
Applicant will start May 18th to July 14th preferrably.
Who you are:
- Tech savvy – Aware of apps, social media platforms, design programs and Microsoft office
- Outgoing and personable – Ability to chat with volunteers, colleagues, sponsors and golfers
- Organized – Keeping on top of tasks and organizing them in a priority list order
- Creative – Bring unique ideas forward and execute them
- Problem solver – When a road gets blocked, you manage to figure out your next steps to solve the issue
- Strong oral and written communication skills – Approaching sponsors and silent auction items in e-mails, letters and picking up items in-person in asssistance with a team
- Flexible and adaptive to change – Must be available on Friday, July 10th (all day)
- Comfortability to be in reels and film them
What we offer:
- $16.47 per hour for 5 days a week 8:30am-4:30pm for 8 weeks
- Flexibility to hours
Qualifications:
- Previous marketing or design experience
- Candidates with an appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Must have current PIC, IRC and Valid Driver’s License preferred.
**Location:**Downtown Office in Red Deer, Alberta (Hybrid option is available)
