As a Specialist, Performance Monitoring and Optimization you will be responsible to monitor the performance of the Teams within Claims Shared Services, leveraging data analytics, identifying trends and recommending solutions to optimize performance.

###How you will create impact:

  • Leveraging descriptive analytics and storytelling to proactively monitor operational trends and risks, while using data to identify root causes and provide recommendations to key stakeholders including Manager, Performance Monitoring and Optimization.

  • Identifying recommendations for operational optimization within the Shared services team and conducting post implementation reviews to monitor outcomes.

  • Develop and maintain reporting for various stakeholders. Ensure that performance results are readily available and communicated through various channels.

  • Supporting a high-performance culture through alignment of department and organizational goals and embedding client service culture and client engagement into claims operations.

  • Building collaborative relationships across claims to align business objectives, optimize performance, and inspire staff to deliver on goals.

  • Executing operational policies and procedures and developing remedies and plans to ensure compliance with company policies as well as legislative standards.

###To join our team:

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in Insurance or in a related field.

  • You have a post-secondary degree in business, finance, insurance, risk management or related discipline.

  • You have working knowledge of Insurance products and service and awareness of industry landscape, competitive environment, and regulatory environment.

  • You have working knowledge of statistical methods and claims management dashboards.

  • Having the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is an asset.

Salary information:

Expected Salary range :$60,574.00 to $100,956.00 CAD

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
