Position Summary

Reporting to the Marketing & Sponsorship Operations Manager, the Corporate Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing primary support to the Corporate Sales team with a focus on sales tracking and reporting, ticket system support, corporate package fulfillment and associated accounting functions and secondary support to the Premium Seating Sales team focused on ticket system management and ticket resolution.

This position involves liaising with existing and potential clients of the Calgary Stampede, building sales and marketing material, managing and prioritizing communications for both internal and external use, which support the strategic goals and objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Corporate Sales Manager, Ticket Office and Premium Seating team, manage inventory of tickets and packages and support reconciliation and fulfillment and ticket resolution
  • Execute financial duties including monitoring, updating and reconciling sales numbers, budget targets, processing invoices to ensure financial compliance
  • Perform administrative duties including maintaining client database, shipping packages, scheduling meetings, ordering items for package fulfillment.
  • Support in the development of reports and presentations as required.
  • Develop sales and marketing materials including sales collateral, promotional items and digital assets.
  • Lead and execute special projects working closely with internal teams, where required.

Qualifications & Education Requirements The ideal candidate will be proactive, optimistic and have the ability to multitask, as well as the following:

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in Sales & Marketing, Event Management or Business.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, event coordination or related field.
  • Demonstrate strong ability to build and foster relationships with stakeholders.
  • Some accounting experience related to invoicing, reporting and reconciliation is preferred.
  • Demonstrate strong multitasking and prioritizing skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Consistently seeks improvements and solutions to ensure efficiencies for the team.
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Displays sound judgement in decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and superior customer service skills.
  • Strong computer literacy and organizational skills.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • A working knowledge of Ticketing Systems, Momentus and Salesforce is an asset
