The site should be reliable, user-friendly, and support Icelandic and/or English language. The design must remain clean and basic, prioritizing essential features without unnecessary complexity. This is a remote, project-based opportunity for a personal client.
Deliverables
- Develop a responsive website with a clean, premium design
- Implement robust age verification (18+) before access to tobacco products
- Integrate SMS-based phone number verification for user authentication
- Ensure full compliance with Icelandic tobacco regulations
- Provide support for Icelandic and/or English language
- Deliver a secure, reliable, and legally compliant platform
- Limit features to only those essential for compliance and usability
Requirements
- Proven experience in web development, preferably with compliance-focused projects
- Strong knowledge of age verification and SMS authentication systems
- Familiarity with legal requirements for tobacco sales, especially in Iceland
- Ability to design clean, user-friendly interfaces with a premium feel
- Proficiency in implementing multilingual support (Icelandic/English)
