Overview We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Part-Time Baker to join our bakery team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a love for baking and food preparation to contribute to creating delicious baked goods in a warm, welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, baking muffins, scones, pies and assorted breads from scratch. Shifts start at 5AM You must drive or live within walking distance!!!!!!!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries,
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistent quality.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking areas in accordance with food safety standards
• Handle food products safely, adhering to proper food handling procedures
• Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards before they are presented to customers
• Skills
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and baking processes
• Strong customer service skills to engage with customers professionally
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic understanding of packaging techniques for baked goods
• Creative flair for decorating cakes and desserts that appeal visually as well as taste-wise
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a collaborative setting
