Compliance Analyst - Contract - 18894
About the role
About The Opportunity On behalf of our client, we are seeking junior compliance professional. This role offers the opportunity work with a small team, under great leadership researching legislation to establish compliance/non compliance providing recommendations and engaging with stakeholders to find solutions.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Review possible instances of non-compliance against legislation
- Determine whether or not there has been an infraction
- Engage with organization management and stakeholders to educate and find a viable solution that results in compliance within a given timeframe
- Draft briefing notes and memos to those organizations who have failed to come into compliance, escalating where necessary
- Assist with the preparation of data and draft reporting
About You The successful candidate will have the following:
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a compliance environment
- Strong technical skills with experience using the MS Office suite of software
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
- Strong research skills with superior attention to detail
- Bilingualism (English/French) would be considered an asset
About the Job This role is a full time, contract position offering a salary of $24.00 per hour for six months. Our client is offering a hybrid work arrangement and is conveniently located in the downtown core with access to public transit.
