Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a QA Consultant – AI Foundry, Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. GenAI Test Automation QA Manager to oversee our quality assurance department. In this crucial leadership role, you will ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability in AI and GenAI projects across the board. You will lead a team of QA professionals and work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement comprehensive test automation strategies and frameworks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the design, development, and continuous enhancement of test automation frameworks tailored for AI and GenAI projects.
  • Establish and communicate test automation requirements and strategies in collaboration with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of detailed test cases, scripts, and scenarios for functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
  • Direct API test automation efforts to ensure seamless integration and functionality of AI and GenAI solutions.
  • Implement and maintain Azure Test Automation (or equivalent frameworks) to automate tests and validate system functionalities robustly.
  • Manage Azure Kubernetes environments for deploying and scaling test infrastructures.
  • Drive the resolution of defects and issues by collaborating effectively with development teams.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability, delivering insightful test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Integrate test automation into Agile workflows and the CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps, enhancing development cycles and product quality.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in test automation and AI technologies, adopting best practices to maintain cutting-edge operations.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the QA department.

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in test automation QA, with significant leadership experience in managing QA teams.
  • Proven track record of working on AI/GenAI projects, with a deep understanding of the specific challenges and requirements in testing these technologies.
  • Expertise in Azure Test Automation or similar frameworks, with a strong command of test automation practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in managing test environments using Azure Kubernetes.
  • Extensive experience with API test automation tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps for effective test management and CI/CD integration.
  • Mastery of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of leading issue resolution efforts.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.

PwC BC Region Pay Range Information

The salary range* for this position is $82,300.00 - 109,700.00 - 137,000.00$ CAD Annual, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location.

  • Please note that the salary range for this position is reflected for our British Columbia region. Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location. PwC is committed to competitive compensation and sharing salary ranges in accordance with applicable pay transparency legislation as they arise.
