We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven General Manager – Niagara to lead one of our key production facilities and play a critical role in driving operational performance, profitability, and team development.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the General Manager – Niagara is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of BTN’s Niagara Farms. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing production, budgeting, purchasing, logistics, inventory management, and team development.

We have a current opening for a General Manager to lead, grow, and deliver excellence.

You will be accountable for delivering strong financial results, executing strategic objectives, and building a high-performing team culture that reflects BTN’s commitment to quality and operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Strategic & Financial Leadership

• Develop and manage divisional budgets and performance targets
• Drive cost control, efficiency benchmarking, and process improvements
• Oversee capital planning and operational investments
• Ensure financial accuracy and accountability

Production & Operational Excellence

• Execute divisional production plans in collaboration with national leadership
• Implement best practices in crop management, quality control, and reporting
• Ensure operational processes support performance, scalability, and growth

Supply Chain & Logistics

• Oversee purchasing, receiving, shipping, and freight processes
• Ensure product quality meets internal and customer expectations
• Maintain efficient pick, pack, and distribution practices

Inventory & Facility Management

• Maintain accurate inventory systems and availability reporting
• Lead bi-annual inventory counts
• Ensure facilities are organized, seasonal-ready, and tour-ready

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a diverse operations team
• Build strong organizational structure and accountability
• Partner with HR on workforce planning and performance management
• Foster a culture rooted in safety, engagement, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

• Senior operations leadership experience (agriculture, horticulture, manufacturing, or related industry preferred)
• Strong financial acumen with hands-on budget management experience
• Proven ability to lead large teams and develop strong managers
• Experience overseeing production, logistics, and supply chain functions
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Experience with capital planning and operational process improvement
• Commitment to workplace health and safety excellence
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
