Canada Summer Job: 16-week position for Youth aged 15-30
Location: Squamish, BC Compensation: $22.00/hour
Start date: April 27, 2026 End date: August 16, 2026
Hours of Work: 35 hours/week
Tuesday-Saturday 10:00am-6:00pm, hours may vary depending on program needs
Do you have experience working with youth? Would you like to spend your summer working in
an energetic, dynamic, social environment? We’re looking for a Youth Program Support Worker
to join our team for Summer 2026 at Squamish Youth Services and Foundry Sea to Sky!
The Youth Program Support Worker actively supports the Youth Services team to plan, organize,
implement, lead, and evaluate community-based recreational, social, and educational
activities and programs for youth.
Employment Requirements:

Criminal Record Search.

Signed Confidentiality form.
-
Approved reference check.
-
Driver’s license is an asset but not required.
Eligibility:

Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
-
Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been
conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the
employment; and,
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to
work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and
regulations.
- International students are not eligible participants.

We provide a range of services that support our communities and residents through all ages and stages of their lives. Last year, SSCS served 6500 individuals and families-- and we're growing fast.
