INUVIALUIT DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (IDC) OVERVIEW

Inuvialuit Development Corporation (IDC) is IRC’s 100% Indigenous-owned business arm and sole-shareholder subsidiary, strategically positioned to serve industry in and around the Mackenzie Delta–Beaufort Sea region. Through its group of service companies, IDC offers integrated, professional, and cost-effective solutions that support northern ventures and partnerships, leveraging decades of operating experience in the western Arctic.

ARCTIC OIL & GAS SERVICES (AOGS) OVERVIE****W

Arctic Oil & Gas Services (AOGS) provides integrated camp, catering, logistics, and workforce support for industrial, exploration, military, and construction clients operating in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region and adjacent northern areas. The Forward Operating Location (FOL) capability enables rapid, safe, and compliant deployment of people, equipment, and services to remote camps. AOGS maintains disciplined operational readiness across staffing, travel, health and safety, compliance, and financial controls, with an emphasis on supporting Inuvialuit employment and community participation in northern operations.

JOB SUMMARY

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in camp accommodation and shared spaces. This role ensures a comfortable and hygienic environment for residents by following strict cleaning schedules and standards. The Housekeeper works closely with other camp staff to support seamless camp operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must be/have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a camp, hotel, or remote setting.

  • Familiarity with cleaning products, tools, and health safety protocols.

  • Knowledge of Indigenous culture and practices is considered an asset.

  • “First Aid and WHMIS certifications are required for employment at a remote camp location.

  • Physically and mentally capable of meeting the demands of extended work hours

  • Adhere to the required dress code and wear clothing appropriate for the work environment.

  • Capable of lifting to 50 lbs (22 kg) as required.
