Job Title: Engineer II – Application Engineer & .NET Full-Stack Developer (Azure Databricks / Data Engineering / .NET Duration: 12 months (Possibility of extension/conversion) Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 days onsite a week) Scope of Project: Vendor integration Team Size/Culture: 50 Required degree/Level of Education: University degree – Computer Science, Math, engineering is ideal.

Preferred/Ideal Candidate Background: Looking for a senior application engineer with experience in .NET full stack and data engineering. Develops and maintains technical solutions that adhere to engineering and architectural design principles while meeting business requirements.
Provides deep technical expertise across
(1) .NET full-stack development — C#, ASP.NET Core Web APIs, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React/TypeScript) — and (2) data engineering on Azure Databricks, Python notebook development, job orchestration, and scalable data platforms across ADLS, ADF, Azure Databricks (including Unity Catalog and Lakeflow), Azure SQL, Airflow, and SQL. Designs, builds, operationalizes, and supports reliable, secure, and high-performing enterprise-grade applications and data solutions — spanning the .NET API/service and UI layers through to the underlying data platform — that can scale to process multi-millions of records daily in compliance with enterprise and industry standards.
