WWTP & Biogas Operator ( Contract)
About the role
Reporting to the WWTP & BioGas Facility Manager, the WWTP & BioGas Operator will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, “Can Do” positive attitude and the ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment. This position will be Full term, beginning immediately.

Shift work (12) hours Days and Nights

Hourly wage: 26.31/hr

Daily operation of a Level IV Wastewater Treatment facility on a rotating shift basis.

Daily operation of a “State of the art” BioGas Facility.
-
Daily housekeeping of both plants.
-
Daily monitoring of well water and water tanks.
-
Laboratory testing for internal use and regulatory requirements.
-
Assisting maintenance personnel as required.
-
College or University Degree in a science background.
-
Wastewater Treatment Certification is considered a strong asset.

Previous industry experience would be an asset.

Exposure to laboratory and maintenance environments would be an asset.

Strong computer skills.

Clear understanding and dedication to meeting deadlines.

Clear understanding of Safety standards.

Ability to analyze and present information effectively and accurately.

Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
