This position is covered by the Central Alberta Association of Municipal Employees Collective Agreement. Please note, current CAAMSE applicants may be considered over non-CAAMSE applicants.
Pioneer Middle School is seeking a highly organized, friendly, and experienced Regular Full-Time Administrative Services II to be the welcoming face of our school in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.
The preferred candidate will have a certificate or diploma in office administration and additional training and experience in the area of business administration, including accounting &/or bookkeeping.
The ideal candidate will have:

excellent interpersonal skills,
-
effective time management and organizational skills,
-
a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment,
-
excellent working knowledge of computerized systems (Google platform, education software including PowerSchool, SchoolCash), and
-
a demonstrated history of success in a complex work environment with multiple priorities.
Main functions of this position will include:

Reception & Communication: Maintain a welcoming and friendly reception for all visitors, families, students, and staff.

Financial Administration: Manage school accounts, handle accounts payable, process school fees, and assist with budgeting.

Operational Support: Provide essential support for overall school operations and student learning initiatives.
Preferred start date will be December 8, 2025, working 7 hours / day Monday to Friday.
