Job Title: SCCM/Desktop Support Engineer Location: Montreal & Mirabel, Quebec (Onsite) Duration: 6 Months contract with high possibility extension
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled SCCM/Desktop Support Engineer to support End User Computing (EUC) services in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Windows administration, image deployment, and endpoint management tools like SCCM/MECM. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills along with excellent communication abilities to support global users.
Key Responsibilities Provide onsite desktop support and infrastructure services to end users. Manage Windows 10/11 environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Handle MECM/SCCM tasks, including: Image creation and deployment Operating System Deployment (OSD/MDT) Software distribution Hardware & software inventory management Perform image management and lifecycle maintenance across devices. Support field services and EUC operations including incident resolution and service requests. Troubleshoot Windows client and server OS issues. Provide remote and onsite support via tools like ServiceNow. Manage and support endpoint devices (Windows, iOS, Android) in a global setup. Ensure compliance with security standards, antivirus, and mobility policies. Collaborate with infrastructure teams and engineering services for issue resolution.
Required Skills: Strong expertise in Windows 10 administration Hands-on experience with MECM/SCCM (OS deployment, imaging, software distribution) Knowledge of MDT and OSD processes Experience in desktop image management Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing system Understanding of End User Computing (EUC) and field services Proficiency in MS Office Suite Experience in remote support tools and troubleshooting Knowledge of antivirus, mobility solutions, and endpoint security Ability to manage multi-platform devices (Windows, iOS, Android)
