Job Description Your Team In support of Invesco’s position as a leading independent global investment management company which provides a comprehensive array of enduring investment solutions for retail, institutional and high net worth clients around the world, this position is responsible for executing high-level print and electronic production while providing expert support in industry-specific programs, file management and work processes in support of the company’s marketing/sales initiatives and regulatory requirements.
Your Role
- Learn and become an expert on Invesco brand guidelines and content structure; ensure all communications align with the brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
- Assess project requests and ensure that all relevant information is included, ensure the projects are delivered on-time, communicate with requestors to review and determine needs. Work with design and production leads to review format and structure questions
- Supervise a team of Production Designers to provide production support for marketing sales literature, sales enablement documents, infographics, fillable forms, ADA remediation presentations and other ad hoc requests
- Maintain clear records of requests, decisions and rationales. Provide visibility to leadership on intake volume, accepted/rejected work and resource allocation.
The Experience You Bring
- At least 7 years of total work experience (2 years in people management) in graphic design and content creation, preferably in a content production team; supporting multiple internal or external clients in a high-traffic design environment
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, After Effects) and other relevant design tools. Proficiency in creating charts in Adobe Illustrator.
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
- Maintains and builds upon knowledge of industry-standard software for video editing, motion graphics, page layout, infographics, typography, print production and photo manipulation
- Strong verbal communication skills are a most. You will be speaking with business partners to discuss projects on an everyday basis. Most be able to defend your position for any request that do not fit our standards. Be comfortable saying no to requests when they do not fit our guidelines.
- Familiarity with PDF remediation / Accessibility knowledge (WCAG Guidelines 2.0) is a plus
Academic Requirements
- An degree in graphic design, visual communications or related field preferred. Seven years of work experience in technical graphic design & content production/page layout/file management may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
