Job Description:
The Solution Specialist, IAM is the enterprise authority for Identity and Access Management (IAM), responsible for architecture, design, and delivery of secure, scalable identity solutions. This role partners closely with IT, Security, and business leaders to enable digital transformation, improve access governance, and ensure identity services align with enterprise strategy, risk, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the enterprise IAM architecture, including identity lifecycle, access governance, authentication, and authorization.
- Define and maintain the IAM strategy, standards, and roadmap aligned to enterprise architecture.
- Design and oversee delivery of IAM solutions and integrations across applications and platforms.
- Act as subject matter expert for One Identity and Microsoft identity technologies.
- Provide architectural guidance and governance across IAM‑related projects.
- Partner with Security teams to ensure IAM solutions meet risk, compliance, and privacy requirements.
- Translate business requirements into scalable IAM designs and technical blueprints.
- Support enterprise initiatives such as SSO, MFA, access reviews, and privileged access.
- Review solution designs and vendor proposals for alignment with IAM and EA standards.
- Promote IAM adoption and best practices across IT and business teams.
Key Skills & Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in solution or technical architecture, with strong IAM focus.
- Proven hands-on delivery of enterprise IAM solutions in complex environments.
- Strong experience with One Identity (Identity Manager).
- Expertise in Microsoft identity technologies (e.g., Azure AD / Entra ID).
- Deep understanding of identity lifecycle management and access governance.
- Experience integrating IAM with cloud, on‑prem, and SaaS platforms.
- Solid grasp of security architecture, compliance, and risk management.
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with technical and executive stakeholders.
- Experience producing architecture artifacts (current/future state diagrams, standards).
- TOGAF and/or Zachman knowledge required; certification an asset.
Compensation:
The target hiring range for this position is $105,518.40 to $131,913.60 with a maximum of $158,288.00.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
