Working on strategic initiatives as part of KPMG’s business development team, you will help drive growth in addition to building and maintaining deep relationships with your clients, peers and ecosystem partners. The Business Development Director works alongside Lead Sales Partner, Service Line Partner, the Partner in charge of key accounts and multidisciplinary experts in supporting firm’s revenue growth.

What you will do

  • Lead the charge in identifying and securing Oracle implementation opportunities, guiding them from lead origination, through compelling proposal development, strategic negotiation to successful closure.

  • Drive innovation by developing new business opportunities across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS domains, focusing on cutting-edge Oracle-based solutions.

  • Execute and independently manage a strategic accounts plan, working closely with key KPMG stakeholders according to needs for these key accounts.

  • Forge powerful partnerships with Oracle and other ecosystem partners, creating joint go-to-market strategies that drive success.

  • Collaborate with senior management to design professional services offerings that align with client objectives and leverage KPMG's expertise.

  • Build and nurture trusted relationships with key client stakeholders and Oracle executives, ensuring long-term success.

  • Prepare and submit functional reports to senior management, outlining progress, obstacles and recommendations with regards to business opportunities and the growth plan.

What you bring to the role

  • More than 10 years of sales, business development and program management experience, with focus on Oracle service offerings.
  • Minimum of 8 years of Sales Pursuit experience within consulting environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle products and their offerings with experience in Oracle technology and related advisory services
  • Proven experience in rapidly growing a practice or an account
  • Proven capability in building relationships with client’s middle and senior management
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication (English is required) and presentation skills
  • Ability to grasp and discuss technical concepts as well as plan high value-added exchanges with clients
  • Willingness to travel as needed, showcasing your commitment to client success.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, marketing, finance or another related field

**KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information **

The expected base salary range for this position is $128,000 to $179,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
