Location: 500‑25 Main St W, Hamilton, ON L8P 1H6 (In Office)
Compensation: $75,000–$82,000+ base, benefits
Position Type: Full‑Time
Who We Are
We're building a portfolio of brands at the intersection of short‑term rentals, real estate investing, and hospitality, and we need one exceptional content person to own the story across all of them.
Rev Whisper is a hands‑on revenue optimization company for short‑term rental hosts and property managers. We're not software. We're not a dashboard. We're a dedicated team of specialists, powered by internal AI tools, who get inside your Airbnb listings every single day and do the work: analyzing ranking positions, filling gap nights, optimizing photos, meta‑tags, pricing, and review responses through a proprietary process no one else can replicate. We show up so our clients don't have to.
Kasu Capital is a real estate investment firm that strategically acquires U.S. single‑family properties in high‑demand vacation markets and repositions them into luxury private resorts with premium amenities. We give investors a stake in the top 1% of U.S. vacation homes, the ones that earn 25x more than the median host.
Kasu Resorts is the direct‑booking hospitality brand behind our portfolio of professionally designed luxury vacation properties across Florida, North Carolina, Texas, and Pennsylvania.
The Founder's Personal Brand sits at the center of it all, a voice in the short‑term rental and real estate investing space that educates, builds community, and drives authority across all three businesses.
These brands share a founder, a vision, and a content strategy that needs to be executed at a high level, and that's where you come in.
About the Role
You will own planning, filming, editing, and publishing of weekly long‑form videos and daily short‑form content across all four brands. You'll repurpose content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, posting natively with clear KPIs tied to growth.
This is primarily an in‑office role with occasional travel to properties, industry events, and on‑location shoots as needed, the company covers all trip costs. You'll be leading content strategy across all brands with in‑house support including videography, video editing, and graphic design. You own the vision, the calendar, and the output, your team helps you execute.
This is an omni‑brand position. You need to context‑switch between a B2B optimization company (Rev Whisper), an investment firm (Kasu Capital), a luxury hospitality brand (Kasu Resorts), and a personal thought‑leadership channel, all while maintaining distinct brand voices and visual identities.
What You'll Do
Content Strategy & Production
- Research topics, craft hooks and outlines, and coordinate shoots across all four brands
- Edit long‑form videos (8–15 min) and produce short‑form content (15–60s)
- Generate titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and end screens optimized for each platform
- Post natively on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Monitor performance across all channels, iterate from data, and report on KPIs
Brand Management
- Maintain distinct content strategies and visual identities for Rev Whisper, Kasu Capital, Kasu Resorts, and the founder's personal channel
- Understand the audience differences — B2B hosts and property managers (Rev Whisper), real estate investors (Kasu Capital), luxury travelers (Kasu Resorts), and the broader STR/investing community (founder)
- Ensure every piece of content serves the right brand with the right tone
Team & Workflow
- Manage a lightweight bench including a thumbnail designer and captioner
- Maintain organized asset libraries, project files, and publishing calendars
- Coordinate shoot schedules around travel, events, and property visits
What You Bring
- A portfolio with long‑form and short‑form work you fully owned — ideation through publish
- Strong pacing, captions, and storytelling instincts — you know how to hold attention
- YouTube IQ — deep understanding of titles, thumbnails, retention curves, and the algorithm
- Multi‑brand experience or comfort — you've managed content across different voices/audiences, or you're hungry to prove you can
- Tooling: Premiere Pro or Final Cut, Frame.io or Dropbox, Descript; After Effects and audio production are a plus; comfort with drones and gimbals is a strong advantage
- Self‑starter energy — you don't wait to be told what to post. You see the opportunity and move.
How to Apply
Submit your application through the Microsoft Form please include:
- Portfolio: YouTube links showcasing your work; before/after comparisons are a bonus
- 2 Best Edits: One long‑form and one short‑form piece you fully owned
- Intro Video (60 seconds max): Answer two questions: "Why would you be a good fit?" and "What is your favorite non‑fiction book?"
- Tooling List: List your primary tools (Premiere/Final Cut, Frame.io, Notion, Descript, CapCut, etc.)
- Availability & City: Your earliest start date and current location (for salary normalization)
Please do not apply via email, use the form to keep things organized.
**The Interview Process Includes a Paid Test Project **
Finalists will receive a paid test project with a 5‑day turnaround.
What we'll send you:
- 30–45 min of talking‑head raw footage + B‑roll pack
- Brand kit + music bin
What you'll deliver:
- 1 long‑form edit (8–12 min) with 3 title options and 1 thumbnail
- 3 shorts (≤60s), each with 2 hook variants (text overlays)
What we're evaluating:
- Hook strength, pacing, cut density, and clarity
- Audio quality, captions, and overall brand feel
- Thumbnail and title CTR potential
- On‑time delivery, communication quality, and file hygiene
Compensation for the test project: $150–$500 flat fee depending on seniority and local rates. We respect your time and we pay for your work.
Why This Role Is Different
You're not joining a single brand and making the same type of video every week. You're stepping into an ecosystem of businesses built by a founder who is actively scaling multiple ventures in one of the fastest‑growing industries in the world. You'll travel to luxury properties, attend industry conferences, create content that reaches investors, hosts, property managers, and travelers — and you'll have the creative latitude to shape how all of it looks and sounds.
If you thrive on variety, move fast, and want to build something meaningful across multiple brands — we want to hear from you.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary
- Benefits package (health, dental, vacation)
- Growth path into a senior content leadership role as our brands and portfolio expand
- Occasional travel to luxury properties and industry events (company‑covered)
- Collaborative, high‑energy culture that moves fast and builds things that matter
