About the role

Position Overview:

Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a respected and innovative organization in their search for a Director of IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced technology leader to shape enterprise-wide digital resilience and drive strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise with business acumen to ensure IT capabilities directly support long-term operational goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive IT infrastructure and cybersecurity strategies aligned with organizational objectives

  • Lead high-performing teams across network operations, cloud services, and information security domains

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction

  • Oversee risk management, compliance, and governance frameworks to safeguard critical systems and data, including compliance with ISO 27001 and NIST

  • Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, system reliability, and cybersecurity posture

  • Establishing security related KPIs for internal stakeholders

  • Own the budget for IT infrastructure, including procurement, license negotiation, managing audits and service providers.

Requirements :

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, with 7+ years in leadership roles

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's or MBA preferred

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft environments, VMware, Azure, and Cisco technologies

  • Strong background in ITSM, incident response, and IT asset lifecycle management

  • Proven track record of successful project delivery in regulated and unionized environments

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build partnerships across diverse stakeholder groups

  • Certifications in IT, IS or Project Management are seen as an asset.
