About the role

JOB SUMMARY

The Regional Security Sales Leader is a senior-level, business-to-business sales professional responsible for driving and scaling Tridon Communications’ integrated security solutions across Alberta and Western Canada.

This role is focused on enterprise, industrial, and multi-site security opportunities, requiring a consultative, solutions-driven approach, not transactional sales. The incumbent will develop new business, expand existing customer relationships, and lead complex security sales cycles from initial engagement through contract execution and long-term account growth.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, pursue, and close complex, multi-unit and enterprise-level security opportunities across assigned territories
  • Prospect, cold-call, and strategically develop new accounts while expanding existing customer relationships
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with monthly and annual sales targets
  • Lead opportunities from first conversation through solution design, proposal, contract execution, and post-sale relationship management

Security Solutions Expertise

  • Sell integrated and value-added security solutions, including:
    • Access Control
    • Video Surveillance
    • Intrusion & Perimeter Security
    • Integrated / Converged Security Systems
    • OT and Critical Infrastructure environments (strong asset)
  • Translate customer operational and risk requirements into tailored security solutions rather than product-only offerings
  • Stay current on evolving security technologies and effectively communicate value to executive and technical stakeholders

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with engineering, project teams, and service departments to ensure feasible, scalable, and well-executed solutions
  • Partner with senior leadership to support strategic growth initiatives across the security division
  • Represent Tridon’s values, professionalism, and business ethics in all client and internal interactions

Administrative & Performance Management

  • Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline reporting

  • Prepare complete, timely, and accurate documentation to support sales forecasting, contracting, and customer onboarding

  • Meet or exceed established sales objectives and performance metrics

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 8 years of proven success in B2B security sales, including enterprise or industrial environments

  • Demonstrated ability to sell solutions, not just hardware

  • Experience selling to management, executive, and decision-making stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of Alberta and Western Canada security markets

  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset

  • OT, critical infrastructure, public-sector, or industrial security experience is a strong asset

  • Experience selling to management and executive-level decision-makers

Other Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving abstract, and reliable vehicle with proof of insurance.

  • Must successfully complete background and motor vehicle checks

  • Based in Calgary or Edmonton or surrounding area (preferred)

  • Willingness to travel within Alberta

RELATIONSHIPS

The Regional Security Sales Leader reports directly to the VP of Sales. The incumbent also works directly with:

AUTHORIY

The Regional Security Sales Leader holds the authority to do the following:

  • Analyze customer needs, and offer effective solutions

  • Identify and recommend areas for process improvement

  • Work independently with little supervision

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

The Regional Security Sales Leader will work in an office environment and must comply with the company dress code. Travel will be required, and site requirements must be adhered to when applicable.
