We are looking for skilled, safety-focused operators to support our Fusion Bonded Epoxy coating processes. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality corrosion protection for piping systems used across oil & gas, industrial, and infrastructure projects. This is an on-site position in Camrose, Alberta, and candidates must be authorized to work in Canada. Schedule - Monday to Friday with night shift rotation; Weekends and overtime required as needed. Must Be - Flexible to work varied shifts, weekends, or on-call assignments as required. Shift - Must be able to work 10-hour shifts with the ability to stand/walk. Pre-Employment - Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test. QualificationsEssential Job Functions FBE Coating Operations Operate and monitor FBE coating line equipment. Apply fusion bonded epoxy coatings to pipe according to specifications. Perform start-up, shutdown, and changeovers of coating systems. Ensure proper heating, application, and curing processes are maintained. Monitor line speed, temperature, and coating thickness. Inspection & Quality Control Inspect coated pipe for defects, inconsistencies, and compliance with specifications. Measure coating thickness and verify adhesion and coverage. Ensure all work meets CSA, company, and customer requirements. Accurately complete production and inspection documentation. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of coating equipment. Troubleshoot process issues related to coating quality or equipment performance. Identify and report mechanical issues to Maintenance and Supervisors. Assist with changeovers and equipment adjustments. Safety & Compliance Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Adhere to WHMIS and PPE requirements. Participate in safety meetings and training programs. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Team Support Work closely with production team members to meet daily targets. Train and support new operators as required. Assist with material handling, loading/unloading, and general production tasks. Qualifications & Skills Experience in FBE coating, industrial coating, or manufacturing preferred. Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting ability. Understanding coating processes, curing, and surface preparation is an asset. Ability to operate production equipment and follow procedures. Basic computer and documentation skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience is an asset but not required (training provided for the right candidate). Safety & Compliance Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and WHMIS standards. Maintain excellent housekeeping and a safe work environment. Work Environment Manufacturing and industrial setting. Exposure to hazards associated with electrical and industrial trade work. Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, and other safety gear. Active industrial shop with exposure to dust, noise, varying temperatures, and heavy machinery. Frequent use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and dust masks as required.
